The MP3's
have arrived!!!!
It's Drew Vanderburg. Remember
last year second session. I had a tape recorder at camp. It
was a weird but cool idea. I got pretty much every camper in the
senior unit on the tape, and many others. I would call the project
a success. With 6 tapes, 90 minutes each, you guys filled over 500
minutes of material. I listened to it all and you will not believe
what sort of insanity is on there. Once I was done, I sat down and
said "Now what the heck am I gonna do with all this crazy stuff?!"
I decided to put some of it here on the internet as mp3's so that every
one of you could hear it whenever you wanted. Even you in Korea and
England and stuff. So, here it is; everything from 189 laps to little
foam puzzle peices to pedophiles packed into one not-so-tiny little web
page!
Now here's where
I apologize to those of you who visit this page like every week in anticipation
of what new sort of stuff I have done, and it is always the same.
Well now I have made some progress!
Since September I have completed the process of putting the tapes on my
computer in twelve really big-ass AIFF files. Also I have begun to
slice those files up into little files that I can then convert into mp3's
and you can get! I now have all of tapes #1 and #2 in mp3's on my
computer. Naturally I have only made mp3's out of the stuff that
is coherent and the stuff that anyone would care about. As of today I have
exactly 50 mp3's made
and I predict I will end up with about 160!
The problem
that I am facing now is that I do not yet know how to put those mp3's here
on this page. Nonetheless, whenever I am on Napster,
you can easily download them yourself. (If you don't have Napster, get
it!) Here's the deal.
I have called
the mp3's various things, but the artist is "Camp
Day '00" for every one of them. My Napster
name is MrLomaLoma,
(same as my AIM name). Just log on Napster, and if I am on, search
for artist Camp Day '00 or jsut browse my library. I'm usually on Napster
around 9 or 10pm. That's it. Someday I hope the mp3's will
be listed all here in a cool way. 'Til then...
What else should I put on here? I have some awesome
pictures to put on. My friend Leah is scanning them for me but she is going
slow. If you send me pictures of you I'll put them on here, too. Anyways,
